This is the Corn Mother--A universal symbol of prosperity, abundance, and sacrifice. She is holding Corn, our source of sustenance and fertility. Under her arm she holds her family--all of Humanity. Her hair extends around the world, wrapping the Earth in her protection and balancing Nature.
Corn Mothers face is that of Lucille Bruner, a direct descendant of Seminole leader Billy Bowlegs.
